I received my BS at University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma in Chickasha. I received my Masters in Educational Administration from Southwestern Oklahoma State University.

I earned my National Board Certification in Early Childhood in 2009.

I first began my teaching career in 1998. I have taught grades K, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 7th & 8th.  I worked for the State Dept. of Education as an Instructional Coach for two years before returning to Anadarko Middle School where I taught 8th English, 7th & 8th Remedial Reading and also served as an Instructional Coach.

I was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma. I have lived in Anadarko for the past twenty years.

I have a 15  year old son, Jay.
